In a galaxy far, distant, a spectacular area collision is underway.
The Hubble House Telescope captured a dreamy picture of two merging galaxies within the VV-689 system. Aptly nicknamed the Angel Wing, the beautiful picture reveals the galaxies symmetrically aligned as they smash collectively, forming what seems like a galactic space-being flying towards the backdrop of darkness.
NASA notes that the picture is a part of a citizen science challenge referred to as Galaxy Zoo. The challenge employs the space-loving enthusiasm of volunteers who assist the area company comb by means of huge quantities of information and pictures despatched again from robotic telescopes.
