"The Pie Factory is a real one-stop shopping facility, a proper studio environment. Everything is to hand – choice of studios, make-up, wardrobe, green rooms and props. Everyone involved in the programmes – actors, crew, and production – really enjoyed the environment, and how easy it made filming. The Pie Factory has a real ‘grown up’ feel to it, reminiscent of Pinewood and Shepperton. Studios too often are cramped and claustrophobic, and not at all conducive to being creative. The Pie Factory is spacious, and everything is so practical, that it’s a pleasure – and fun – to work there. There’s nothing in the north west to compete with it, and if what we’ve enjoyed while working at The Pie Factory is anything to go by, it’s going to be difficult for anything else to hold a candle to it in the future."
